Of course, painter Ed Repka is still drybrushing light flesh tone ontop of fleshtone, when it's never needed. and fear not, the over-abundance of blue drybrush is there also!

IMO, that's the one thing holding NECA back.
really, I'm sick as hell of that blue drybrushing......for Christ's sake.
It worked well (for the most part) on the Hellraiser figs, because that was sort of the visual tone of the movie......but they've lost their minds with it now.

It looks ok but it's not impressing me like other NECA pieces.

NECA needs to get rid of the horribly lit washed out product photos. Yes, it makes their figures look better in person, but it also makes me not even bother checking out some figures.
